Deep foundations that go in quickly and cleanly for homes, extensions and commercial builds, from Gympie through to Brisbane.
A screw pier is a steel shaft fitted with helical plates. It is turned into the ground until it reaches solid support, then it carries the weight of your building. For many Sunshine Coast sites, that makes it a cleaner and quicker choice than digging and pouring traditional footings.
Few contractors in Queensland can both dig and install screw piers, so we can look after the earthworks and the foundations on the one job. Luke will tell you plainly whether screw piers are the right fit before you commit.

Compact machinery lets us install piers where conventional piling rigs cannot reach.
Suitable for sloping, reactive and sandy soils where traditional footings are difficult.
Plenty of local blocks are steep, sandy or awkward to reach. Compact machines let us work in those spots, and because there is very little spoil and no concrete to wait on, the next trade can often start sooner.

Screw piers are steel foundation piers with helical plates welded near the tip. They’re screwed deep into the ground with a hydraulic drive head on an excavator until they reach the bearing capacity your engineer has specified. Unlike traditional concrete footings, there’s no waiting for concrete to cure, very little soil to dig out and take away, and the piers can usually carry load as soon as they’re installed. That makes screw piers a fast, clean and cost-effective foundation for new homes, extensions, granny flats, decks, sheds and retaining walls, especially on the reactive clay and sandy soils found across the Sunshine Coast.
Yes. We install screw piers right across the Sunshine Coast, from Caloundra and Kawana to Maroochydore, Buderim, Coolum, Nambour, Noosa and the hinterland. Our team does the on-site work with our own excavators and screw pier drive equipment, in partnership with an experienced QBCC-licensed foundations contractor. We work with homeowners, builders and owner-builders on residential and light commercial projects, and we finish every job to a high standard and on time.
Absolutely. Sloping and hard-to-reach blocks are often where screw piers work best. Installation needs no large trenches or concrete trucks, so we can work on steep hillside blocks, narrow side access and established backyards with minimal disturbance to the site. Our machinery is sized to suit the job, and each pier is installed to the depth and torque set out in your engineering. On a sloping Sunshine Coast block, that usually means less excavation, less spoil to cart away and a faster start to your build.

Every installation follows your engineer’s specifications and Queensland building requirements, so you can be confident your foundations are compliant and built to last. Licence details are provided with your quote.
